X. Development Points

This one's a fairly short section since there's not a whole lot to tell about Dev Points. What are they? Exactly what it sounds like; they're points used to develop your characters. Development points are used for leveling up your; Character Abilities, Companions, Equipment Proficiency, Artisan Skills, and Magic Level. 

all you have to do is RP. You earn 1 Dev Point for every 10 words you write during training threads, or 1 Dev Point per 15 words in other threads. You can gain more depending on whether your thread is Hard or Easy Mode. These points are awarded upon completion, and turning in of your threads. You can only turn in threads that have more than 5,000 words (per person) or more, or in batches of 3+ at a time. No turning in 1 thread with less than 5,000 words at a time. You can find how many Development Points you have by checking your profile.

threads allows you to earn Dev Points 1 words faster. However, other people are allowed to enter your thread, attack, and kill you at any point. Additionally, you must keep track of your Mana Pool at all times.

threads are always private. No one's allowed to join your thread unless you allow them to, and they're not allowed to try and kill you unless you both agree to it. All Training Threads are Easy Mode.

When using Development Points, the costs in the charts above is the cost required from the previous level. For example, if you want level 3 magic you need 50 for level 1, 100 more for level 2, and 200 more for level 3. In total, it costs 350 Development Points for level 3 magic. If you want level 3 Magic, as well as make 1 of your character abilities level 3, and have level 3 weapon proficiency; you'll need 350 Development Points 3 times, or 1,050 Development Points.
