Name: Land of a Thousand Lakes, Part 1: The Mark
Rank: Recruit
Requirements for Lower Ranks: ≤ 1 Rank
Minimum Word Count: 300
Location: Tartaros
EXP Gain: 15
Coin Gain: 0
Item Reward: Mark of the Leviathan
This item is a tattoo places on the individual that looks like the symbol of the god Levyathan. It glows with power while the wearer is performing parts of this series, granting you power:
• +1 to each stat
• The ability to breathe under water
• The ability to communicate with fish, but not control them
• Resistance to water based attacks equal to 25%

Synopsis:
Word has it that a man in Tartaros has been looking for someone to do a bit of information hunting for him. He's both, a historian for the Tartarosian College of Science and Religion as well as a follower of Levyathan. During a trip to the Land of a Thousand Lakes, he came across a peculiar artifact that had the crest of Levyathan on it; a coin. He's inspected the item and found that the item responds to magic, but he has insufficient Control of magic to do anything with it. He'd like you to tap into the object's power.

The "coin" will actually transport you through astral projection to a place filled with water where a voice speaks to you. The water becomes murky and disgusting as you sink deeper until you're surrounded by sludge. When you awaken, the coin is gone and you have a tattoo somewhere on your body, the location is your choice. If your character doesn't know what body of water you saw in your vision, describing it to the historian will cause him to tell you it was the water in the lakes. He'll ask you to come with him to the Land of a Thousand Lakes since he feels there's a connection between you and it. He doesn't let you answer his request, but rather leaves and says he'll give you time to think on it.
