Minimum Word Count: 600
Location: Land of a Thousand Lakes
EXP Gain: 50

The crystal doesn't do anything, and it's got no value at all. It's just a crystal with a dark blue color, doesn't even glow.

Synopsis:
Upon arriving at the Land of a Thousand Lakes, you find the archeologist in a type of trance like state. He seems to have lost his mind and is attacking nothing, and then turns to attack you. You'll need to subdue him to make him stop.

After putting him down, you'll hear something. At first it'd sound like a whisper coming from the lake, trying to make you get closer. It wants you to enter the lake, and soon you're unable to control yourself. Upon touching the water, your mark gently glows and you find yourself being grabbed by tenetacles that are pulling you down. As you get deeper, the water becomes murky, disguisting, and dark until it feels like you're surrounded by sludge. You get pulled further down until you feel rock below your feet. Things are moving around you, you hear them, but unless you have special eyesight, you see nothing. Suddenly the movement stops and you're alone.

Something calls you to move forward through the darkness. But, as this water originates from the sea, there are creatures that would try to end you. Make your way through the underwater city until you find your way to the center. A strange force will cause you to reach out and grab something and take it to the surface with you. When you reach the surface, you find a blue crystal in your hands. The historian will take hold of the crystal so he can examine it further.

Enemies: Sharks, Giant Squid, Angler Fish, Eels, Sharp objects, uneven surfaces, and the sludge water around you.
Is it alright to make up my own enemies?: Yes
